When Panda was a little girl in school and learned about The Great Pyramids of Giza, they sparked so much wonder in her mind. She recognized how they possessed so much beauty, power and mystery which she feels is the perfect representation of what women are— BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL AND FULL OF MYSTERY.

“There are so many times in life that you have to start over, even if you don’t want to, it’s part of moving on and moving forward, past whatever it is that wasn’t right for you. Using Barbie dolls that were thrown out shows you what you can become when you have the courage to start over and create a new beginning for yourself. It’s about taking that leap of faith and believing that you are better, and you are more than your circumstances,” Panda explains.

“This piece represents what it feels like BEING A WOMAN. No matter how talented and qualified you are, you’ll have to work ten times harder to earn the respect, make the money and get to the top. When you make it to the top, that’s not actually the top, that’s just as far as you’re allowed to go. But as a woman, you will never let that stop you from pushing the limits and making it further than the last woman that fought day and night, for the same thing you are fighting for. And before we know it, all our daughters, and daughters' daughters, will be the ones that are able to truly make it to the top,” Panda professed.
