LOOK CLOSELY!! Panda created the eight tentacles on this work of art from THOUSANDS of recycled Barbie dolls.

In 2013, Panda spent the entire year building this piece. When she finished, she realized if she left it like it was it would most likely fall off the wall and kill someone!!! When she started building this piece, she had no idea what she was doing, but she knew she had to do it! With that being said, she had a lot to learn to be able to create what she was envisioning in her mind and make it structurally sound. She rose to the challenge! With some serious education from a master fabricator she took this piece apart and started over. She rebuilt it three times over a five year period. She credits this work of art as teaching her how to truly become an artist.

Don’t forget to put on your 3-D glasses and when you’re standing in front of the piece, you have to rock back and forth like your on a boat that’s lost on the high sea. It’s part of the experience. You’ll thank me later.
